Niche instructor Reformer training

At Niche we envision a Pilates Instructor Training Education program that provides an opportunity for students to immerse themselves in movement education. Our mission is to provide students with a breadth of knowledge that introduces exercise and movement history as well as dives deep into the education of Pilates principles and Pilates movement. 

Our program fosters the development of students’ ability to recognize proper form and alignment, utilizing a cueing style that gives clients precise direction while allowing the instructor's personality to shine.

FOUNDATIONS

October 5th: 10am-4pm

REFORMER

October 6th: 10am-4pm

October 12th & 13th: 10am-4pm

October 26th & 27th: 10am-4pm

PROGRAM DETAILS

Program requirements:

  • Comprehensive movement foundation + anatomy available in person or virtually

  • Reformer training available in person or virtually

  • 18 self study hours

  • 18 observation hours 

  • 50 personal practice hours

  • 90 practice teaching hours 

Registration:

  • You can register for the course whenever you are ready to make the commitment. The self study material is already loaded onto the course for you to begin studying and reviewing. We close registration or the course one week prior to the start date so everyone has time to review the material.

  • If you can’t attend a training date you are able to schedule a one on one for $100/hour. Note you will cover the material faster in a one on one session.

Upon registration you will receive:

  • On demand exercise library

  • Foundations & reformer training manual

  • Niche Pilates education community access for Q+A and support 

The test out:

  • Our education coordinator will send out a sign up form to everyone who purchases their test out.

  • If you do not pass the test out you are able to retake the test for $100 per section. You only need to make up the section that you fail. There are a total of three sections.

After passing and completing the course you will receive:

  • Niche Reformer Pilates certification 

  • Knowledge & experience to teach Reformer Pilates classes or private sessions

  • Niche’s Reformer Pilates class template to utilize throughout your teaching career

  • Application to potentially join the Niche Instructor team in Richmond, VA if we have available positions

  • Every two years you must complete and submit 12 hours of continuing education to keep your certification active and valid. Submit to our program coordinator at education@nichefitstudio.com

  • To make class planning easy you will have access to our Niche Reformer Class Template

  • 4 Virtual discussions to support you after the training is complete led by Niche Instructor Trainer.

  • Find support and community through the community chat group with your cohort, monitored by the NIT Coordinator. The group launches on the first day of training.

  • Opportunity to demo after the test out and become part of the Niche Instructor team
